BREAKING: Thanks to the Business Accelerator Network for Southeast Michigan, the winning project team from Startup Weekend Detroit will be awarded a $5,000 prize!
Startup Weekend returns to Detroit this November for Global Entrepreneurship Week. Flex your creative muscle and put your skills to the test as you work to develop and launch a new company in just 54 hours. This event is no talk, all action.
Startup Weekend Detroit will be held at TechTown, Detroit's research and technology park, during the weekend of November 12th.
First time attending Startup Weekend? Here is a glimpse at the event programming:
Friday 11/12 (6 - 11 p.m.) - Dinner Provided
Attendees meet. Projects are pitched. Teams are formed.
Saturday 11/13 (9 a.m. - 11 p.m. or later) - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Provided
Ideas are developed. Teams strategize. Companies are built.
Sunday 11/14 (9 a.m. - 9 p.m.) - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Provided
Finishing touches are added. Presentations are completed. Judges are pitched. A winner is declared.
What does my ticket get me?
Your ticket purchase buys you the following:
Access to the entire weekend.
Access to the Sunday judging session.
Seven meals throughout the weekend.
Access to great guest speakers and presenters.

Refund Policy: Ticket sales are final, no refunds. We plan for and pay for food and space based on ticket sales. We wish we could but it makes planning and budgeting a nightmare. Please take into consideration any obligations you have to avoid any inconvenience.
